Spanning an area of 20 hectares, the Żyrardów Reservoir is an artificial body of water created in the 1990s on the Pisia River (Bzura’s right-bank tributary). It is perfect for summer recreation, with a guarded beach, benches along the shoreline, umbrellas, hammocks and ping pong tables. And if you’re hungry, the nearby Molo restaurant offers a tasty and affordable menu.
There are plenty of ways to spend your free time here. Renting a water bike or a kayak to pedal or paddle along the reservoir is one of them. And once your’re back on land, why not lie down for some rest and sunshine on the guarded beach? The grassy beach also has a barbecue area, where you can have a good time with your friends and family. If you’re more into active leisure, use the beach volleyball court or beach soccer pitch to enjoy team sports competition. Children’s attractions are plentiful as well.
The Reservoir area also offers great angling options. Anglers can use a designated fishing zone to relax and find a quiet spot where, with a bit of patience, it’s not that hard to catch some real big fish – the reservoir abounds in fine specimens of the pickerel, carp, pike perch and common roach.
As if this wasn’t enough, the Żyrardów Reservoir is located close to the Bolimów Landscape Park – a mushroom hunter’s paradise. The Reservoir lies just 10 km from our Hotel. We're looking forward to hosting you!
